Wayne Hollinshead
Chairman
Wayne Hollinshead brings over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry, having led global distribution businesses as Chief Executive Officer of Pattonair and President of Incora.
His career spans both OEM and MRO sectors, where he successfully scaled Pattonair into a $500 million enterprise backed by private equity.
Wayne’s leadership is rooted in a data and systems driven approach, complemented by a strong emphasis on team collaboration.
Outside of work, Wayne is a keen sports fan and enjoys family life with his wife Gemma and four children.
Nick Harvey
Chief Executive Officer
Founder of Mel Aviation Components in 2013, Nick brings over 20 years’ experience in the aerospace Used Serviceable Material (USM) and safety equipment sector.
Nick is passionate about providing the best quality customer experience and delivering value through strong supplier and customer relationships.
Dan Scesney
Chief Financial Officer
Dan Scesney brings more than 25 years of international finance leadership experience, with a successful track record across the UK, US, Italy and Switzerland. He has worked with both private equity-backed and family-owned businesses leading financial transformation, business growth, and value creation.
He joined Mel Aviation Components from Amazon Filters Limited, where he served as Group Finance Director and led a successful private equity exit after modernising the finance function.
Dan was previously CFO of Micro-Macinazione S.A. in Switzerland, where he also facilitated a successful business exit. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, building the strong technical and commercial foundation that has underpinned his career.
Dan will lead the finance function through its next phase of growth, bringing a proven track record of building strong finance teams and driving value creation.

As Chief Commercial Officer and Partner, Matt is passionate about delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term client relationships.
He brings a sharp focus to strategic planning, commercial development, and identifying new opportunities to drive the business forward.
Matt’s leadership and industry insight continue to play a vital role in shaping Mel Aviation Components’ commercial strategy and expanding its global reach.

Sales Director
As Sales Director, Lauren Costick is committed to driving business growth and long-term success.
With over 8 years of experience at Mel Aviation Components, she leads the Sales Team in building and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
Lauren specialises in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, while working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys travelling to different holiday destinations with her family.
Steven clark
IT Director
Steven brings over four decades of global IT leadership experience, having designed and implemented ERP systems across four continents for major manufacturing and distribution organisations.
His career includes senior roles at Pattonair and Incora, where he led large technology teams and delivered enterprise platforms supporting multi-billion-dollar operations. With deep expertise in software development, systems architecture and digital transformation, Steven has consistently enabled scalable, sustainable growth through high-impact technology solutions.
Steven is focused on strengthening Mel Aviation Components’ IT infrastructure and driving the digital transformation needed to support the business as it scales.
